Awaken is a faith-based non-profit organization on a mission to eradicate commercial sexual exploitation. With a focus on providing housing, education, and holistic restoration services, we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with survivors, giving them the tools they need to reclaim their lives and build brighter futures.
We aim for victims of commercial sexual exploitation to be restored to their fullest potential. We aspire to be an inspirational model for other communities.
Our three pillars, prevention, restoration, and city transformation form the foundation of our approach.

At the Child Assault Prevention Project, we deliver direct services to help children stay SAFE, STRONG, AND FREE.
CAP's mission has expanded over the years, but has always included the empowerment of children and families, through increased knowledge and awareness, to act in ways that work to break the cycle of abuse.
The mission of CAP is in response to the national and local statistics of child abuse. Annually, there are more than 300,000 reports of child abuse nationally. Locally, Washoe County took 6,088 reports of child abuse and neglect in 2023. While that number is frightening in itself, it is even more frightening to know that 80% of all child abuse goes unreported.

Eagle Springs Teen Boy’s Center provides a secure and encouraging environment for young men, ages 12–17, to heal from life-controlling issues. As part of Teen Challenge NorWestCal Nevada, we offer a well-rounded residential program where boys can focus on restoration without falling behind in their studies through our accredited education program.
Eagle Springs is specifically designed for boys struggling with addiction, anger, defiance, and trauma. We understand the struggle and are here to help. Our long-term residential approach allows the time needed for real change. Here, anger transforms into peace and disorder into self-control.

Eddy House offers Northern Nevada youth a safe, supportive environment with free resources and wraparound services. Our Drop-In Center and Emergency Shelter provide essentials like overnight stays, showers, meals, clothing, laundry, personal care items, lockers, and computer access. We also offer workforce development, education help, case management, counseling, and life skills programs.
Eddy House began as a small outreach effort and has grown into a vital resource for hundreds of homeless and at-risk youth in Northern Nevada. Explore the milestones that shaped Eddy House into what it is today, and how we continue to grow to help meet the needs of homeless youth in Northern Nevada.

Our mission is to create a healthy drug-free community by building successful partnerships to support prevention education and outreach.
About Join Together Northern Nevada
In 1995, a group of concerned citizens started an informal coalition focusing on how to address the growing substance abuse problem in Washoe County.
Original conversations and plans centered around treatment services and eventually expanded to include prevention.
In 1998, the group chose the name Join Together Northern Nevada (JTNN) and incorporated as a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. Join Together Northern Nevada serves the Washoe County Regional Behavioral Health Policy Board.

Project 150 was inspired by a news story in 2011 about 150 homeless students at a high school in Las Vegas. Two friends rallied their colleagues and families to provide for those students and created a non-profit when they realized these students faced an on-going need. Today Project 150 serves 58 Las Vegas high schools.
Project 150 Reno was started in 2014 by a dedicated group of volunteers following the same mission – serve homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged students so they could focus on high school and graduate. The Reno group started by collaborating with a few high schools to provide food, clothing, school supplies, and food along with sponsoring shopping days three times a year to distribute additional supplies to students in need.
